Ferran Torres is back at Manchester City with a broken foot suffered during his international service with Spain.

Torres limped in Spain’s UEFA Nations League semi-final victory over Italy, after scoring twice in the first half.

He was deemed fit to start against France in Sunday’s final, playing 84 minutes of the 2-1 loss.

Manchester City have confirmed he suffered a “small fracture” in his right foot.

The Premier League champions said: “He has since returned to Manchester for tests and will continue to be watched.”

Torres has made seven appearances for Manchester City this season, scoring three goals.
