FBI Director Christopher Wray denounces the threats

FBI Director Christopher Wray has slammed “deplorable and dangerous” threats against the agency following the raid on former President Donald Trump’s private residence in Florida.

In response to various threats circulating online, primarily to Gab, Wray told The Associated Press that “violence against law enforcement is not the answer.”

“I’m always concerned about threats against law enforcement,” Wray said. “Violence against law enforcement is not the answer, no matter who you’re mad at.”

FBI agents searched Melania Trump’s wardrobe and spent several hours searching Donald Trump’s private office, opening his safe and rummaging through drawers when they raided the former Mar-a-Lago home of the first family in Florida on Monday morning.

The Post has learned that the search warrant used by the FBI to enter the lavish Palm Beach property focused only on presidential records and evidence that classified information was stored there.

A source close to the former president expressed concern that FBI agents or DOJ attorneys conducting the search may have ‘planted some stuff’ because they wouldn’t allow Trump’s lawyers inside the building. 128-room building to observe the operation, which lasted more than nine hours.

Almost all Republicans and the former president’s supporters denounced the raid as a blatant power grab by Biden’s Justice Department, likening it to Third World dictatorship tactics. Biden supporters and the left in general have all denounced these responses as dangerous rhetoric that could lead to violence. In an editorial for vanity loungeBess Levin has argued that hot takes on how the Biden administration potentially uses law enforcement to destroy a political opponent will lead to another January 6.

“It’s not that hard to imagine where this kind of rhetoric might lead people, because something similar happened, oh, just 19 months ago, on January 6, 2021. But apparently that of little concern to the Trump team,” Levin explained.

Breitbart News collected various clips from corporate media claiming criticism of the raid was mistaken for conspiracy theories.
