CHICAGO (CBS) – West Loop’s legendary hot dog spot, Fast Track, is closing.
Fast Track, at Lake and Des Plaines streets, has been serving Chicago Viennese hot dogs, Polish sausages and fresh-cut fries for over 30 years. Owners Eddie and Bonnie Tefka noted that in the 1990s, Fast Track was known as a late-night hangout for nightclub-goers heading to venues such as The Shelter and China Club.
