Many players will be watching their chips, especially the treble captain with Liverpool having two favorable home fixtures against Norwich and Leeds.
Arsenal also play twice, against Brentford and Wolves, while Antonio Conte’s Tottenham side travel to face Man City and Burnley. The deadline is 11am GMT on Saturday, February 19.
Here we go over some of the best picks for your FPL squad in Double Game Week 26…
Mohamed Salah – Liverpool – £13m
The league’s best player this season has two games this week, at home to Norwich and Leeds. It didn’t take an FPL pundit to suggest that Mohamed Salah is the standout pick for this week, and those without him could see their rank plummeted with the potential for so many to triple him captain.
Trent-Alexandre-Arnold – Liverpool – £8.5m
Trent Alexander-Arnold has returned 66 points in Liverpool’s last ten games, including three assists and a goal. Salah has 35 points in that span and even though he missed two games in that run while on AFCON duty, it shows just how impressive the Reds are. right back was. Another big hit this week could be in store.
Kieran Tierney – Arsenal – £5.1m
Arsenal have struggled to score goals since the start of the year, but they continue to look solid defensively. The Gunners have five clean sheets in their last seven Premier League games and have every chance of adding to that with home fixtures against Brentford and Wolves. Kieran Tierney can even add to his tally of three assists as he bombs forward down the left.
Jacob Ramsey – Aston Villa – £4.8m
It’s easy to get carried away with teams playing twice in a matchweek, but that doesn’t mean teams that only have one game should be ignored. At an incredibly cheap price, Jacob Ramsey has scored three goals in his last four matches and Aston Villa are set to create plenty of those at home against Watford.
Jarrod Bowen – West Ham – £7m
Another midfielder in great form and with an extremely attractive game. Jarrod Bowen has returned 68 points in his last seven appearances, and it wouldn’t be surprising if his goalscoring form continued at home against Newcastle.
Wilfried Zaha – Crystal Palace – £6.8m
Crystal Palace have plenty of options in the frontcourt which makes rotation inevitable, but Wilfried Zaha is a player who can expect plenty of minutes. He has two matches this matchweek and while he may struggle at home against Chelsea, the trip to Vicarage Road a few days later should provide him with more opportunities.
Jadon Sancho – Man United – £8.9m
Manchester United continue to be unconvincing but Jadon Sancho is starting to look impressive and is enjoying his best spell since joining the club in the summer. Leeds could well prove to be perfect opponents for a United side who can be ruthless during the break, and Sancho’s pace could be the main threat.
Wout Weghorst – Burnley – £6.5m
Picking a striker from Burnley is really a punt, even if they play twice this game week. They’ve scored just 17 goals all season but new man Wout Weghorst has caused Man United real problems and all of Burnley’s attacking threat against Brighton and Tottenham will likely come through him. The Clarets need someone to step in – Weghorst could be the man.
