Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham are among the squads with two matches, so it’s no surprise that players from all three clubs dominate our FPL predictions this week.
But Chelsea’s suddenly fluid attack and that of Aston Villa, which are thriving under Steven Gerrard, are also attracting interest.
Here’s who we think you should consider signing this week…
Aaron Ramsdale | Arsenal | £5.1 million
Arsenal’s defense looked slightly shaky at Watford last weekend, but a pair of home matches could see Ramsdale come back in the points. The second of them comes against Liverpool, but that brings its own chance for save and bonus points.
Tino Deliveramento | Southampton | £4.4 million
Early season favourites, Livramento had a disappointing double game in Week 28 after runs in 26 and 27, but can bounce back against a Watford side that look doomed.
Trent Alexandre-Arnold | Liverpool | £8.5m
Liverpool’s first of a defensive brace needs no explanation, with Alexander-Arnold delivering 12 points last weekend with no whites since matchweek 23.
Andrew Robertson | Liverpool | £7.2 million
The Scot joins his full-back partner at the Reds on the grounds that his FPL form is even better, delivering a whopping 54 points since the start of matchweek 22.
Matt Doherty | Tottenham | £4.7 million
Doherty isn’t a player we likely would have included in this list a few weeks ago, but he has been reborn under Antonio Conte in recent weeks.
Kai Havertz | Chelsea | £7.8 million
Havertz was given the green light to lead Chelsea’s line past Romelu Lukaku and took full advantage. The Blues have a tantalizing run of fixtures between now and the end of the season, albeit with a blank next week.
Bukayo Saka | Arsenal | £6.6 million
Saka was in scintillating form with a goal and an assist at Watford last Sunday and can continue to produce in Arsenal’s latest double. There is little risk of a rotation with the winger between now and the end of the season, with the Gunners fully focused on a top four finish.
Philippe Coutinho | Aston Villa | £7.4 million
Is there a fitter player in the Premier League right now? The Brazilian racked up 23 points in Aston Villa’s double gameweek with some sensational performances and should be ignored at your peril.
Mo Salah | Liverpool | £13.2m
As with Alexander-Arnold, there is little explanation needed here about a must-have player since the start of the season. There’s no reason for that to change now, with Liverpool in action twice.
Heung-min Son | Tottenham | £10.8 million
From an attacking perspective, it is Tottenham who have the most tantalizing games of the double matchweek, against a shaky Man United defense and a failed Brighton side.
Ivan Toney | Brentford | £6.5m
The Brentford talisman has scored five goals in his last three league starts on either side of a calf problem, including last week’s hat-trick at Norwich and he can fire the Bees one step closer to safety when visiting Burnley.
Harry Kane | Tottenham | £12.3m
As is the case with Son, Kane looks set to enjoy Spurs’ double after looking his best again by racking up double-digit runs in three of his last four games.
Armand Broja | Southampton | £5.5m
Like Livramento, Broja disappointed Southampton’s matchweek double, particularly for those who handed him the captain’s armband, but Watford’s clean sheets have been in short supply.
