‘Fallout’ TV Series Based On Games Gets New Prime Video Premiere Date

UPDATED APRIL 8: Prime Video has brought forward the premiere of its high-profile new drama series To fallSince Western world creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, based on the world’s best-selling retro-futuristic video game franchise. All eight episodes of the post-apocalyptic series will premiere on April 10 at 6 p.m. PT. The surprise drop was revealed in a new To fall ad aired Monday during the NCAA men’s basketball championship game. The drama was previously scheduled to release on April 12. Here is the announcement, made by series star Walton Goggins who plays the Ghoul.

PREVIOUS October 23: Prime Video has set April 12, 2024 for the premiere of To fallhis new expected series of Western world creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy and their Kilter films, based on the world’s best-selling game franchise. It will be available to stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories around the world. You can watch the date announcement below.

The announcement comes on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of To fall Day, an annual celebration of everything dedicated to the video game franchise. Additionally, Amazon Studios launched the series’ official social channels with an interactive Pip-Boy GUI.

The world of To fall is a world where the future envisioned by Americans in the late 1940s explodes upon itself through nuclear war in 2077. The magic of the world of Fallout lies in the harshness of the desert that opposes the idea utopian vision of the previous generation of a better world thanks to nuclear energy.

Set in future post-apocalyptic Los Angeles and the world of To fallthe series is an original story based on To fall it will be part of the games canon.

THE To fall the franchise has seen record sales and received dozens of Game of the Year awards, while its mobile game, Fallout shelterhas been downloaded more than 170 million times.

The series’ cast includes Ella Purnell (Yellow jackets), Walton Goggins (The Hateful Eight), Aaron Moten (Emancipation), Moisés Arias (The King of Staten Island), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Sarita Choudhury (Country), Michael Emerson (Person of interest)Leslie Uggams (Dead Pool)Frances Turner (The boys), Dave Subscribe (Enhanced), Zach Cherry (Breaking), Johnny Pemberton (The ant Man), Rodrigo Luzzi (Dead ringtones), Annabel O’Hagan (Law & Order: SVU), and Xélia Mendes-Jones (The wheel of time).

Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serve as executive producers, writers and co-showrunners. Nolan and Joy are producing through Kilter Films as part of their overall deal with Amazon. Athena Wickham of Kilter Films also executive produces with Todd Howard for Bethesda Game Studios and James Altman for Bethesda Softworks. Amazon and Kilter Films are producing in association with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks. Nolan directed the first three episodes of the epic series.
