F1 teams have been warned that they risk penalties if staff visit stewards at a race in the future uninvited.

FIA race director Michael Masi has written to the 10 teams following Sunday’s British GP to clarify that the visit of the stewards, who decide incidents on the track and determine penalties, does not is allowed only with prior approval or formal notice.
