Helen Peralta raised eyebrows as she staged a topless protest against Disney ahead of her fight with UFC veteran Poliana Botelho at Invicta FC 49.
The 7-2 MMA fighter stole the show ahead of her last fight as she weighed in topless, with only criss-cross tape covering her nipples.
The words “F*** Disney” had been written on the tape before it was stuck to her breasts in what was at first a confusing corporate photo.
Apparently, this isn’t the first time Peralta has done this.
During her time on “The Ultimate Fighter, Season 30” which featured Amanda Nunes and Julianna Pena as trainers, the Dominican fighter pulled off a similar stunt, according to one of her castmates.
TUF heavyweight finalist Zac Pauga explained on social media that Peralta attended one of his weigh-ins in a similar state only for the producers to ask him to re-enact his weigh-in with a shirt.
When the show aired on Disney-owned ESPN, Peralta’s risky weigh-in was reduced and it apparently didn’t sit well with the 34-year-old, who made her feelings clear ahead of her latest fight.
“I’ll give you the context!” Pauga tweeted.
