Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel told Breitbart News that President Joe Biden and Democrats are putting children “on the front lines of a drug crisis” because of their politicization of “rainbow fentanyl.” sky “.
“Democrats don’t care about the safety of our children,” the RNC chairwoman told Breitbart News of the politicization of “rainbow fentanyl.”
Last month, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) officials sounded the alarm that Mexican drug cartels were disguising ‘rainbow fentanyl’ pills as candy to get young people hooked. as soon as possible in order to generate their profits.
“Because of Joe Biden’s open border, our children are now on the front lines of a drug crisis,” McDaniel continued. “Cartels and criminals are capitalizing on and exploiting Democratic negligence by targeting our children. Deadly “rainbow fentanyl” is a serious threat, but instead of taking it seriously, Joe Biden and the Democrats put politics before the safety of our children.
McDaniel, who has two children, said parents – including herself – were “rightly alarmed” by the “rainbow fentanyl”. “The Democrats have woken up parents everywhere, and this is just the latest insult to moms and dads looking out for their children’s well-being,” she added.
“Joe Biden’s unacceptable silence is an insult to parents and to the many Americans who know victims of this deadly drug. In November, the Biden border crisis and resulting fentanyl crisis will be front and center at the polls,” she explained.
This all comes after a Michigan Republican recently aired his fears and concerns about the dangers of “rainbow fentanyl” on Fox News, which was later mocked by Hollywood elite Jimmy Kimmel when he used it to deliver a punchline on his late night show.
The president was trying to argue that ‘rainbow fentanyl’ was given out to kids on Halloween; Kimmel claimed McDaniel was using him to strike fear among Americans ahead of a major election.
.@jimmykimmelit’s “rainbow fentanyl”.
Biden’s DEA says these killer pills are meant to target children, especially in the run up to Halloween. 1 tablet can kill a child.
It’s not political. It’s not a punch. Your platform could amplify this warning. pic.twitter.com/tGJkEtbzne

Last month, the DEA released a notice informing the public of the “alarming emerging trend of colored fentanyl available in the United States.” The DEA noted that its law enforcement offices seized brightly colored fentanyl in 18 states. The DEA note stated:
Dubbed “rainbow fentanyl” in the media, this trend appears to be a new method used by drug cartels to sell highly addictive and potentially deadly fentanyl designed to look like candy to children and young people.
Brightly colored fentanyl is seized in multiple forms, including pills, powder and blocks resembling sidewalk chalk. Despite claims that some colors may be more potent than others, there is no evidence from DEA lab testing that this is the case. All colors, shapes and sizes of fentanyl should be considered extremely dangerous.
“Rainbow fentanyl – fentanyl pills and powder available in a variety of bright colors, shapes and sizes – is a deliberate effort by drug traffickers to create addiction in children and young adults. “, said Anne Milgram, administrator of the DEA, of the new trend drug.

In fact, last week the DOJ announced that two Maryland men, Oscar Flores, 34, and Severe Alelar, 25, have been charged with multiple fentanyl trafficking charges. The two men were attempting to sell approximately 15,000 fentanyl tablets to an undercover DEA agent.
