Ex-Brazilian star tells Arsenal to sign country’s next best talent after Vitor Roque rumors

The 40-year-old is a former student of Atletico Paranense where the 18-year-old striker is earning his stripes, having recently won the South American Under-20 Championship with Brazil.

Reports suggest Barcelona are winning the race to sign Roque this summer, and Arsenal are reportedly keen on the player.

But Eduardo believes he would be a perfect match for the Premier League leaders.

“Vitor Roque is a great player,” he told Betway.

“He’s been a starter at Atletico Paranaense since he was 17. It’s a great club that I’ve had the pleasure of playing for. They develop great players.

“The top clubs in Europe want him too, as well as Arsenal.

“Roque has also been selected for the Brazilian national team so I hope Arsenal will sign him as I have no doubt he will help Arsenal achieve their goals.”
