Everton powered Leeds to a 3-0 victory after a first half-hour dominance gave Frank Lampard his first league win, beating foe Marcelo Bielsa.
A sublime team goal was scored by Seamus Coleman in the 10th minute, before Michael Keane’s header in the 23rd minute ended the clash.
Rodrigo Moreno was Leeds’ only real hope after being shocked in the early stages, with the Spaniard hitting the bar twice from distance.
But Everton fended off any threat, with Anthony Gordon ending the game in the 78th minute, getting a toe on Richarlison’s solo effort.
And on an afternoon of positives for Lampard, whose side slip five points clear of the relegation zone, Donny van de Beek, on loan from Manchester United, also impressed on his debut.
The midfielder controlled things in the center of the field, giving his new side the platform to rack up 21 shots against Leeds’ seven.
He was also involved in the opener of the game, a lavish passing move that featured a brilliant defensive pass from 20-year-old Gordon in another standout performance.
Coleman’s brave header was also provided by key man Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who looked sharp for the first time since returning from injury.

Everton had another welcome spectacle in the form of a first clean sheet in 13 games, providing a much-needed positive boost after a 3-1 loss to Newcastle last time out.
In a sign of the volatility of the Premier League relegation battle this season, Leeds now have as many problems as Everton.
A point clear with one more game played, Bielsa will be just as worried as his old rival Lampard after his wake-up call at Newcastle.
