Evander Kane reveals the horrific nature of his wrist injury

Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane met the media on Friday and revealed how bad the cut on his wrist was.

It sounds awful.

Kane was injured earlier this week when his wrist was cut by Tampa Bay Lightning forward Patrick Maroon’s skate blade.

He was rushed off the ice and immediately taken to a local hospital for surgery. It turned out that Maroon’s skate blade cut Kane’s wrist to the bone.

His wrist is currently immobilized and he is expected to miss at least the next three to four months.
