Installed for twenty years in the countryside of Landaul, with his wife Brigitte, the navigator Eugène Riguidel has embarked on a new fight. This time, it is about protecting his immediate environment and his entourage.
A 36-meter antenna must be installed by Orange in a small basin, at the entrance to the village of Landaul, along the rue de Kerjulien (D19), near the hamlet of Kergoulec. The operator has not, for the moment, informed the population, and letters from the mayor of Landaul, Dominique Ollivier-Frankel, have remained unanswered.
The mobilization has already started. A petition is circulating. And Eugène Riguidel announced this Monday that he has just gone on hunger strike. “And it will last as long as the project will not be canceled,” assures the seafarer and the fighter. “A doctor from Vannes will follow me, but I am determined”. A support rally will be organized on Thursday April 15, at 3 p.m., in front of the striker’s caravan, rue de Kerjulien.
