Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United transfer plans may have been a blow with two of his top stars at Ajax set to sign for Bayern Munich.
Ryan Gravenberch and Noussair Mazraoui are both set to end up in Bavaria, although Ten Hag has revealed there is nothing stopping him from signing his former players.
Ten Hag will take the reins as United’s new manager this summer, with plenty of work to do on and off the pitch.
Caretaker manager Ralf Rangnick recently revealed there could be as many as 10 signings this summer, with a squad overhaul expected after the club recorded their worst ever Premier League campaign.
And it wouldn’t have been surprising if some of the entrants came from Ajax, with the Dutch giants continually producing some of the game’s best talent.
Ten Hag was even asked about the possibility of taking some of his current squad with him to Manchester, and revealed that there was nothing stopping that from happening.
“There is no agreement in place that would prevent me from bringing players to Manchester United,” he said.
“Which Ajax players are interesting? I have very good players here, but that’s not a problem.

Two of his most popular players in the Netherlands, Gravenberch and Mazraoui, will travel south to Munich instead, according to Guardian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
This takes away two of Ten Hag’s best options from his current squad, but there are plenty more to grab attention.
Exciting Brazil winger Antony is set to be available for a fee of £55million, while centre-back Jurrien Timber has received rave reviews this season.
Former West Ham striker Sebastien Haller could also be an option, with Argentina international Lisandro Martinez also attracting attention.
