Emmanuel Macron’s cell phone reportedly targeted by Morocco

According to France Info and Le Monde, the number of the French president would have been selected by Morocco for possible surveillance by the spyware Pegasus. Rabat has nevertheless already denied any espionage via this software.

“If the facts are proven, they are obviously very serious”: this is how the Elysee commented this July 20 to AFP, information reported by several media, according to which Morocco would have selected a phone from the president of the Republic in office, with a view to a potential placing under surveillance by the spyware Pegasus.
