Emmanuel Macron, 43, received the injection while the vaccination has been open since Monday to all adults regardless of their age, more than five months after his illness, in accordance with the recommendations of the health authorities to wait at least 3 months and with a single injection.
The head of state did not specify which vaccine he had received.
He had tested positive on December 17 and his wife seven days later.
