Eddie Hearn completed the punch machine challenge and beat Tony Bellew’s left hook score

Eddie Hearn pulled off an impressive upset by beating former WBC world heavyweight champion Tony Bellew in a punching machine challenge.
The promoter proved he packs a punch by scoring more on the DAZN Boxing Show arcade machine with his straight right than Bellew landed with his famous left hook.

“I’m going to take my jacket off,” Hearn began when challenged to pick up the machine.
“Okay, okay, I’ll hit him with a straight right hand down the pipe.”
At this point, he hammered the punch ball with a crisp shot and scored a stunning 935 points.
“It is heavy. Well done Ed,” responded an impressed Bellew.

The veteran himself then stepped in and chose a classic left hook.
Hearn suggested, “Your left hook has always been the equalizer.”
Bellew rolled and hit home with a solid shot, but didn’t connect as well as he would have liked.
“It’s not going to register too,” he said immediately.

To which Hearn replied, “Oh please let me beat him.”
Bellew was right when his score stood at 926 points, nine behind Hearn.
