East Limestone High School teacher charged with second DUI

MORGAN COUNTY, Alabama (WHNT) — The Decatur Police Department arrested the head football coach at East Limestone High School on Monday afternoon, according to jail records online.

Jefferey Allan Pugh was arrested and charged with a DUI and misuse of a lane. This is the second time Pugh has faced this set of charges. In July 2020, however, his DUI charge was changed to reckless endangerment.

Along with being a football head coach, Pugh is also listed as a physical education teacher on the East Limestone High School website.

Pugh is being held in Morgan County Jail, his total bond is set at $1,300.
