The first round of the NFL Draft is in the books with the Eagles landing Georgia defensive tackle Jordan Davis after moving up two spots from the No. 15 pick to No. 13 to select award-winning Chuck Bednarik.
On Friday, they have two more chances to add talent to the roster with the No. 51 pick in Round 2 and the 83 in Round 3.
ESPN.com has its second-round simulation draft and the Eagles fill their need for a cornerback, taking Roger McCreary from Auburn.
The Eagles will fill a need at cornerback with McCreary, who offers great value. He is able to compete for the starting spot against Darius Slay in training camp.
McCreary finished this season with a stellar 14 passes defended and had six interceptions over the past three seasons for the Tigers.
As for Round 3, the Eagles still hold the No. 81 pick, having sent the 101 pick to Tennessee in the trade of AJ Brown.
A mock third-round draft, to NBC Sports, resulted in the Eagles taking Georgia linebacker Channing Tindall.
Tindall sometimes gets lost in the sauce on this Georgia defense, but he’s an explosive player, earning second-team All-SEC honors, making 67 total tackles (7.5 for loss) and 5.5 bags on the Bulldogs.
