Eagles and Fletcher Cox agree on one-year contract

Fletcher Cox returns to play for the only team he has ever played.

The Philadelphia Eagles and Cox have agreed to a one-year contract for him to return to the team that drafted him in 2021.

Cox returns having made 35 tackles, 3.5 sacks and 12 TFLs in 2021.

Cox is taking a slight pay cut to return to Philadelphia and it will be interesting to see how Jonathan Gannon uses him this season, with Haason Reddick’s free agency edition giving the team another pass rusher.
