Although Dwight McNeil is very talented, he still has a long way to go to reach as far as former Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria.

That being said, Burnley’s winger’s dad makes a specific comparison and that’s the amount of tattoos both players have.

Speaking exclusively to talkSPORT, the Burnley winger spoke about the claimed similarities between him and the Paris Saint-Germain player.

“My dad is making a joke about it too,” McNeil said. “He calls me Angel Di Maria because he has tattoos and I just started getting a tattoo so he takes the mick.”

“I think he’s a wonderful, special player when he was back at Real Madrid. He has a left foot and I think he’s a great player.

Despite a rough patch in his Manchester United career, Di Maria has been a wonderful player for most of his career, which has seen him play for Europe’s biggest clubs.
