Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson mocked by Logan Paul after shock WWE return

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson made a sensational return to WWE – but not everyone was impressed.
Logan Paul, once a good friend of The Rock, mocked the wrestling legend’s return by comparing it to the cast of Jersey Shore.

On Friday night, The Rock made a surprise return to Smackdown, his first WWE appearance in four years, facing his old rival Austin Theory.
There was even a reunion with John Cena – which ended amicably with the two shaking hands and kissing.
There have been rumors that there could be a Wrestlemania XL vs. Roman Reigns showdown next year in Philadelphia.
But as fans were whipped into a frenzy, there was one dissenting voice.
Paul took to social media to mock The Rock’s comeback, comparing those in the ring to the cast of Jersey Shore, who wore similar outfits with black tank tops.
He posted a tweet of the two photos next to each other with the caption: “I’ve seen this before.”
Having gained popularity as a YouTube star, Paul has since joined the WWE roster after making his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 38 in 2022.
However, there was a time when Paul and The Rock were good friends.

Johnson would help Paul with his YouTube videos and the pair collaborated on several projects.
But that ended when Paul sparked controversy when he explored the Aokigahara Forest, also known as the Suicide Forest, in Japan in 2017.
After discovering the body of a suicide victim, he and his friends were criticized for treating the victim with disrespect.
The Rock has since distanced himself from Paul and his YouTube channel and said he would no longer work with him.

Paul apologized for his actions but the damage was done while American actor and comedian Kevin Hart, a mutual friend of the two, explained that the friendship was over.
Speaking on Paul’s podcast, Impaulsive, Hart said: “The one thing you should absolutely realize, I think is the one thing we should clarify right away…
“Dwayne would never do that because he’s not the same type of person, and I’m not calling him a bad person by any means, but we say things without saying it.”
It remains to be seen whether Paul will return to WWE as he prepares to take on Dillon Danis in the boxing ring.
The 28-year-old will appear on the undercard of KSI’s clash against Tommy Fury on October 14 at the Manchester Arena.
