Dutch Bros Coffee is (almost) officially coming to Madison!

MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) – A popular West Coast drive-thru chain enjoyed by many may just making its way into northern Alabama – or so it seems.

A sign bearing the logo of “Dutch Bros Coffee” can be seen sitting just off Zierdt Road in Madison, giving a hint of what’s to come in the area.

If the sign has any merit, it would confirm Dutch Bros Coffee’s first location in the entire state of Alabama.

Right now, if you wanted a sip of their rebel tea or their cold oat milk beer, you’d have to take a nearly 2 hour trip to Smyrna, Tennessee. Some of the items on their menu include Dutch Soda, Smoothies, Energy Tea, Chai, and of course – a few baked goodies.

The coffee company got its start in Grants Pass, Oregon and has slowly begun to expand across the country in recent years. Other than the few places in Tennessee, there are almost no places east of Oklahoma (yet).

News 19 has contacted the company for official confirmation and when we should expect to start ordering our favorite beers – we’ll be sure to let you know!
