Drew McIntyre or Randy Orton are the wanted opponents for WWE legend Jake Roberts

WWE legend Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts recently revealed that Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton are the two current generation star performers he would like to face.

Like Roberts, Orton and McIntyre have a set of hard-hitting aggressive moves in the ring that allow them to impose their will on their opponents.

speaking on DDP Snake PitRoberts was asked who from the current WWE roster he would like to get in the ring with.

“Either (Randy) Orton or Drew McIntyre. I’ve always been very fond of the Orton family, I’ve fought Bob (Orton) and seen Bob’s dad wrestle. I think he’s (Randy) a huge talent and there’s something he’s doing that’s not quite perfect and i don’t know what it is so i want to get in the ring and feel it i know the only experience that I have with him you know of course I took his finish and it just felt right to do that you know and everyone that I feel like that with I know I can have fun and to experience things that I haven’t had 0:14 to 1:04

Randy Orton has been out of action with a back injury since mid-May 2022. His most recent match was in a losing effort with partner Riddle against The Usos, where RK-Bro lost his championship.

Drew McIntyre’s huge title match hit a speed bump

On September 3, The Scottish Warrior is set to take on Roman Reigns at WWE’s next premium live event, Clash At The Castle, broadcast live from Cardiff, Wales.

However, recent reports emerged that McIntyre was suffering from a minor back injury, leading many to question his overall health ahead of his huge game.

“Fightful can confirm that Drew McIntyre suffered a back injury which led to him being taken off the road this weekend. Surgery is not scheduled and he is still scheduled for Clash at Castle.” H/T Twitter

Despite the setback, Drew McIntyre is still booked to face Roman Reigns for the undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the Welsh capital.
