Draymond Green’s wife rages over Boston Celtics fan chants, Golden State Warriors, NBA Finals news, scores, video

The Golden State Warriors were fumed at the behavior of Boston fans in Game 3 of the NBA Finals, especially with the abuse Draymond Green received during the contest.

Green endured a torrid time in Boston, finishing with just two points, four rebounds and three assists before fouling out in the fourth quarter of Boston’s 116-100 victory.

However, more than the ejection itself, it was the reaction to the Boston faithful’s ejection that left Warriors and Green’s wife Hazel furious.

As Green received his marching orders, the crowd of 19,156 inside Boston’s TD Garden burst into a loud chant of “F— you, Draymond.”

“Tough defeat BUT in NO WAY, shape or form should fans be allowed to chant obscenities at players!” Hazel wrote in a statement posted to her Instagram account.

“Aren’t they human? Does someone stand at your work and say nonsensical things to you?

“The NBA has the audacity to have a whole code of conduct card at every seat about fans and their behavior and how they might get kicked out of a game or banned, but a whole crowd/section/many people can sing F— YOU DRAYMOND or call it a b—h or MF (motherf—er)?! And nothing?! That’s OK?!

“Warriors fans would NEVER do this!! My kids were at the game tonight hearing this mess! Very DISGUSTING of you little Celtics fans. Just shameful!”

Green’s teammate Klay Thompson, who finished with a game-high 25 points on 7-of-17 shooting, was also frustrated with the reception Green received.

“We’ve played in front of rude fans before. Dropping F-bombs with kids in the crowd. Really classy. Good job Boston,” he told reporters.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr jokingly called the reception Green received “classic,” and Green himself didn’t seem surprised by the chant.

“They’re just talking,” he said.

“It’s not really my job to react. They did what I expected.”
