Square Enix will release Dragon Quest Monsters: The Prince of Darkness for PC via Steam, as well as for iOS and Android on September 11, the company announced.
Dragon Quest Monsters: The Prince of Darkness first launched on Switch on December 1, 2023.
The PC, iOS, and Android versions will include all of the downloadable content from the Switch version, but will not include the “Online Battles” network mode.

History
Psaro is cursed and cannot do anything with monster blood. He must now become a Monster Wrangler to create an army for battle.
The hunt for high-ranking monsters takes Psaro through Nadiria’s ever-changing seasons and unique environments, featuring bubbling lava rivers, mysterious ancient ruins, and soaring cake towers. Along the way, Psaro meets the kind-hearted elf Rose, who joins his adventure in search of ever-stronger monsters.
The key to Psaro’s success lies in synthesis: the ability to combine two monsters to create stronger offspring. Each new creation brings Psaro closer to his goal: becoming the Master of Monsters.
(The console version’s Online Battles network mode, where players compete in real-time, is not included.)

- A wonderful world awaits you – In Nadiria, time passes and seasons change, with different weather conditions pushing new monsters out of hiding and revealing paths to unknown areas. The Circles of Nadiria are sure to offer you a new experience with each visit.
- Over 500 unique monsters – With such varied environments to explore, you can expect them to be inhabited by a plethora of monsters. While many can be recruited through battle, occasionally a defeated monster will ask to join your party of their own accord. Befriend as many monsters as possible, then combine them to synthesize new creatures and create a party unique to your liking.
- Enjoy all the downloadable content from the console version – The Steam version includes the console version’s DLC packs: Mole Hole, Coach Joe’s Dungeon Gym, and Treasure Trunks. Make the most of their unique features to enhance your adventure.
- Test your power in fast-paced contests – Register your team in Quickfire Contests in network mode to compete in automated battles against the group data of 30 other players. Once per day, you can earn stat-boosting items as prizes, and monsters from any team you defeat will be added to your roster (up to B-rank monsters only).
