Kanye West could be set to reveal new music after reports the rapper is dropping high-profile Donda imminently.
The world superstar, who is currently go through divorce proceedings with former partner Kim kardashian, will host a listening party for the album later this week, having been repeatedly teased but never released.
The album, which is named after her late mother, is set to follow her 2019 gospel album, Jesus Is King.
Promoters Live Nation said West will host a Donda listening event in Atlanta, Georgia on Thursday, but did not give more details.
Rumors about the rapper’s return emerged this weekend after influencer Justin Laboy revealed that West played Donda to him and basketball player Kevin Durant in Las Vegas.
He tweeted: “Kanye West’s album is really done. When it comes out this week, we probably won’t be listening to anything else for a while. Let me enjoy all the current artists I’ve been listening to so far. there. God bless you. “
Laboy added: “The production is light years ahead of the hour, and the bars sound like he’s broke and hungry trying to sign again. Any artist planning to quit soon should just push it back. . “
In July of last year, West said Donda would drop very soon – but it was never released.
Engaging in a flurry of then-deleted tweets about his future ex-wife Kardashian, he said, “I’m focusing on music now.”

He also previously shared the album’s track list, with tracks such as Praise God, God’s Country, and Off The Grid.
The musician-turned-fashion designer has gone almost silent in recent months since his ill-fated run for the White House in November and moved to his Wyoming ranch.
