Do you like tacos? Stock up on bottomless tacos for $25 at Anejo in Northern Liberties

PHILADELPHIA — Anejo in Philadelphia serves up bottomless tacos for just $25.

“If there’s anything we’ve learned in Philadelphia, it’s that they love good food and good business,” says chef and partner, Ricky Camacho.

Anejo opened in Northern Liberties at the start of the pandemic with curbside pickup. When restaurants started reopening for indoor dining, Bottomless Taco Tuesdays were an instant hit.

Along with two other locations in New York, the one in Philadelphia is the only one offering bottomless tacos for $25 a head.

“We kind of had an idea that it was going to be popular, but it’s definitely popular,” Camacho says.

On Taco Tuesdays, the restaurant sells an average of 1,200 tacos.

“To put that into perspective, we normally do it in about a week.”

Customers have a choice of seven different tacos served family-style, and the offering is only available on Tuesdays.
