Glow is an annual Exploratorium program that has grown over the years and is now bigger and better than ever.
“Light is something that surrounds us. It illuminates. It transforms, ”explained Kirstin Bach, artistic director of the Exploratorium. “We would like to think of the art at the Exploratorium as the same thing. As being enlightening and transforming. It helps us see something new.”
Discover the captivating art of light radiating through space by talented artists Michael Brown, CHiKA, Nick Dong, Alicia Eggert, Ekene Ijeoma, Luke Jerram, Burt Libe and Ames Palms.
Connect, play and be inspired as you walk through the museum.
“For this year’s exhibition, we have chosen works that are often very reflective and that kind of show how people are connected to each other,” said Kathleen Maguire, Director of Public Programs at Exploratorium. . “We think it’s something that people are looking to feel right now – a feeling of connection and a feeling of re-emergence in the world.”
