Season two of Bridgerton focuses on Anthony Bridgerton and his quest to find a wife. Anthony finds himself in love and involved with the two Sharma sisters. While Edwina Sharma (Charitra Chandran) seems to be the favorite bride, Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley) is also shown to have a palpable chemistry with him, throwing the whole thing into the flow.
A small family love triangle. Who hasn’t been there?
While our dear Simon Basset (Rege-Jean Page) is not returning for season two, Daphne Basset (Phoebe Dynevor) will appear, albeit in a supporting role.
Lady Whistledown, however, has no intention of going anywhere.
“You definitely see her more mature,” Nicola Coughlan told E! News last year. “I think about it in the Britney [Spears] thing, “it’s not a girl, not a woman yet” in this season. So she’s more aware of the power she wields – that doesn’t mean she’s better at using it. She definitely finds herself in awkward situations.”
When it comes to Bridgerton? The stickier the better.
