Dillian Whyte will join Tyson Fury for the press conference TONIGHT with a pair finally ready to exchange words on Zoom

Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte will share a virtual Zoom press conference on Thursday night, according to Fury’s US co-promoters Top Rank.

It will notably be the first time the pair have exchanged words throughout the build-up to the fight, which will air live on talkSPORT on April 23.

Fury and Whyte will share a virtual press conference on Thursday evening at 6 p.m. UK time (1 p.m. ET)

Until Wednesday this week, Whyte deliberately did not engage in promoting the event.

The challenger opted out of the initial kickoff press conference last month, which Fury conducted alone.

Indeed, Whyte and his team have had a number of disputes with Gypsy King’s UK co-promoter Frank Warren, some of which aired during a clash involving Whyte’s lawyer on talkSPORT a few weeks ago. .

Now, it’s unclear exactly what happened behind the scenes, but it seems that a compromise could have been found between the two camps.

On Wednesday, Whyte posted about the fight on social media for the first time since it was announced.

And Fury’s US co-promoters Top Rank have announced that Whyte will join Fury, Warren and Bob Arum at a virtual Zoom press conference on Thursday evening at 6pm UK time (1pm ET).

Their press release read: “Fury, Warren, Arum and WHYTE will meet the media for a Zoom press conference on Thursday April 14 from 6pm UK / 1pm ET / 10am PT.”

Many are still understandably skeptical whether Whyte will join the Zoom call and he has yet to publicly confirm that he will.

However, his social media post about Wednesday’s fight led some to speculate that a deal may have been struck behind the scenes.

Whyte tweeted and posted on Instagram: “I’m ready. Can’t wait to see everyone on April 23 @WembleyStadium. #LetsGooo!!!!”

Notably, he also tagged Frank Warren and BT Sport, who he previously refused to engage with on any level.

Hopefully on Thursday night, promotion for the fight can finally kick things up a notch with the pair exchanging words.
