Diane Keaton Gets Candid About Her Relationship Status: ‘I’m Not Dating’

Diane Keaton opened up about her single status in a new interview with AARP magazine, proclaiming “I’m not dating.”
“I don’t remember anyone calling me saying, ‘It’s so-and-so. I’d like to take you out,'” the ‘Godfather’ actor said in the Thursday post. “They’re not coming. Of course not.”
Keaton has previously opened up about being single, telling InStyle magazine in 2019 that she hadn’t dated in decades because men hadn’t asked her out.
“Never. Okay? Let’s get this straight,” she said. “This one is important. I haven’t had a date in, I’d say, 35 years. YOU.
“I have a lot of male friends,” the ‘Something’s Gotta Give’ actor said at the time. “I have many friends, but no dates. No mwah-mwah.

Keaton told People magazine the same year that she was happy with her decision to never marry, as she said she “needed more of a motherly look” for it.
“I don’t think it would have been a good idea for me to get married, and I’m really glad I didn’t,” she explained in a 2019 interview, telling the outlet that there was “something missing in me” and she was “an eccentric”.
“When I was young, I was looking to be loved by these amazing people,” said Keaton, who was once in high-profile romances with actors like Warren Beaty and Woody Allen.
“I think I shouldn’t have been seduced by the talent so much. When you both do the same job, it’s not so great. I should have just found a nice human being, some kind of guy of the family.
