BJP senior leader Devendra Fadnavis said on Sunday he had tested positive for coronavirus and was in home isolation. Fadnavis, who is the Leader of the Opposition in Maharashtra Assembly, had also contracted the virus infection in October 2020.
On Sunday, the state’s former chief minister said in a tweet: “I have tested positive for #COVID19 and isolated at home. Take medication and treatment as advised by doctor. Those who have come into contact with me to take COVID tests. done. Take care all of you!”

Earlier, when Fadnavis contracted the infection in 2020, he had undergone treatment at a public hospital.
