DeSantis ‘Insane’ – What he did to ‘sick’ migrant children

Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) said on MSNBC’s “Alex Wagner Tonight” on Tuesday that Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) was “mad” and “sick” for moving migrants from Texas to Martha’s Vineyard.

Discuss the billboards he put up against the governors. Greg Abbott (R-TX) and DeSantis, Newsom said, “They need to be called. They can’t get away with it. They can’t claim to be pro-life when they’re only pro-birth. They cannot claim to embrace freedom, while they deny the freedom of reproductive rights of women and girls. They cannot attack vulnerable communities without being called.

He continued, “Do you pay attention to what these guys are doing, how many books have been banned here in Texas. Eight hundred and one books were banned. Ron DeSantis arrested an elected official. He sends a swat team for people in their underwear at six in the morning because they register to vote and have voted. It’s crazy. Think about it. It’s crazy. He went to another state to find migrants and use the state money intended for unauthorized immigrants, not those seeking legal asylum and send them to an island.

He added: “It’s sick. I am a parent. Man, how do I explain this to my, forget Democrat, Republican. It’s like, what? Has anyone done this? Would they do that to children? To other people’s children? To human beings? What kind of person does that?”

Newsom concluded: “They are bullies, nothing more than bullies.”
