Derek Chisora wears a Boris Johnson mask to weigh himself in as Kubrat Pulev does his best to break Eddie Hearn’s arm with a handshake

Derek Chisora wore a Boris Johnson mask at Friday’s weigh-in for his rematch with Kubat Pulev.
Johnson resigned as British Prime Minister this week, much to the dismay of the British heavyweight.

The announcement comes after he was embroiled in a series of scandals and controversies over the past few months, with immense pressure and resignations from fellow Tory MPs ultimately prompting the decision.
During Thursday’s press conference, Chisora was asked if he was feeling the pressure ahead of his fight.
He replied: “Listen, I have more pressure at the moment because Boris Johnson has left the house, number 10.
“It was more pressure for me because I was a huge Boris Johnson fan.
“I’m a big Brexit fan, I love this Brexit.”
To show her support for Johnson on Friday, Chisora wore a mask of her face throughout the weigh-in.

Pulev took the stage first.
The Bulgarian shook hands with all the officials and then was offered a handshake by Eddie Hearn.
He grabbed the promoter’s hand and squeezed it roughly, tugging him lightly across the stage as if trying to break his arm.
Chisora then emerged wearing her mask.
Pulev weighed 250 pounds, while Chisora weighed 258.2 pounds.
They concluded by facing off one last time as Pulev stared oddly at a mask of the outgoing prime minister.

Asked if he wants the premiership now that Johnson has stepped down, Hearn told Boxing King Media: “I think I would do a really good job.
“But my old [Barry Hearn] would do a better job.
“But the problem is, however useless Boris Johnson may be, the others are also useless.
“So we’re all screwed really, aren’t we?
“A lot to change.
“It’s not a political interview, but you need someone running the country who’s smart.
“Not just – I know I went to public school too – but not just a public school kid who doesn’t understand people, doesn’t understand the state the country is in on many different levels.”
