Deputies of Morena will pay with their salary for the transfer of people to the AMLO rally

The coordinator of Morena in the Chamber of Deputies, Ignacio Mier Velazcorevealed that legislators from Morena are going to pay out of pocket for the transfer of people to the rally that Andrés Manuel López Obrador will lead next Saturday March 18th in the Zócalo of Mexico City.

At a press conference, the also president of the Political Coordination Board (jucopo) in San Lázaro announced that the Morenista deputies will be at the event called by the federal president, and not only that, but that they will allocate part of their diet to cover the travel expenses of several people from the entities of the republic which represent.
“I am aware, because several deputies have let me know, that they will allocate part of their diet to be able to be present and with them some of the comrades who also want to come and who jointly support his transfer the deputies,” said Mier, accompanied by the Secretary of the Interior (Segob), Adam Augusto Lopez.
And it is that, for the leader of Morena in the Lower House, attending the congregation is essential for the militants of his party, since the oil expropriation is “an important part of his movement.”
“The celebration of the march on Saturday has to do with the essence of our movement, with the living expression of our movement, and not doing so would be an omission to our rituals that gave rise to it,” said the legislator, who also aspires to be the next governor of Puebla.
The event will take place on the esplanade of the Constitution on March 18 and was convened by the head of the federal Executive on the occasion of the commemoration of the oil expropriation carried out in 1938, and in defense of the “energy sovereignty” from the country. Likewise, it is about the response of the ruling party to the opposition congregation in the Zócalo on February 26 in “defense of the INE.”

For his part, Adán Augusto expressed in the conference that it is not a “act of indoctrination”, but of a “civic act” and “one of the peak moments in national history and that is what we Mexicans are going to celebrate in the Zócalo, at 5:00 in the afternoon,” he said.
Meanwhile, President López Obrador launched the invitation again during the “morning” of this Monday, March 14. “We are going to congregate in the Zócalo. I ask everyone to participate. We have to reaffirm our independence, our sovereignty, to remember that historic decision of General Cárdenas to recover the oil,” said the president, who invited even “his adversaries” to join.
Likewise, the national leader of Morena, Mario Delgado Carrillo, began a tour of the 16 city halls of Mexico City to invite citizens to join the event. Even since last Sunday he was seen handing out flyers in the Plaza de Coyoacán and in the Alameda Central.

“We decided to take to the streets inviting all the people to accompany our president next Sunday, March 18 (…) There is much to celebrate, beginning because today we have a government with its pants on well that defends sovereignty in all its aspects, including, of course, energy,” said the leader of Morena.
“We have many reasons to have a great celebration and without a doubt a good reason is that it is strengthening the energy sovereignty of our countrythat we are ceasing to depend on foreigners,” said Delgado Carrillo.
According to what was revealed by Andrés Manuel, the event will have live musical performances, because “it will be a party, because we rescued Pemex and the Federal Electricity Commission.”
