About thirty people demonstrated in support of an illegal alien in front of the sub-prefecture before entering the building at 11:45 am.
The mountain specifies that the sub-prefect of Ambert, Nicolas Lafon, received a business manager to discuss the situation of this undocumented and that it was at the end of this discussion that the demonstrators gathered in front of the sub-prefecture.
These people were “evacuated by the police without any injuries being found,” said the prefecture. But the press release adds that “faced with the behavior of the demonstrators, the use of tear gas was necessary”.
At 12:15, the sub-prefecture was “completely evacuated by the gendarmerie which has since reinforced its surveillance system”.
The Prefect of Puy-de-Dôme assures us that he “strongly condemns this intrusion into a state administration”.
