Everton are set to announce their third signing of the era Rafael Benitez with former Leicester City winger Demarai Gray set to join the Toffees.
The 25-year-old is set to join the Toffees for £ 1.5million, according to the Liverpool Echo.
He will complete his medical examination in the United States and could join the team as part of their tour of Florida.
Gray started his career at Birmingham City and was a player many had their eyes on as he lit up the league for his hometown club.
Midlands rivals Leicester will secure his signing in January 2016 with an offer of £ 3.75million sufficient to secure his services.
The move didn’t go as well as everyone involved would have liked and his time with the Foxes ended in January 2021 where he moved to Germany with Bayer Leverkusen.
Obviously, this decision did not go exactly as planned as he is now set for a return to the Premier League after just six months.
With Andros Townsend and Asmir Begovic coming from Crystal Palace and Bournemouth respectively, it has been a good start to the transfer window for Everton as they look to improve from tenth place last season.
