‘Delaware looks like a great place’ for migrants if DC runs out of space

During Monday’s broadcast of “Hannity” on Fox News Channel, Texas Governor Greg Abbott (right) said Texas would continue to ferry migrants to Washington, DC, and if DC ran out of space, “the Delaware seems like a great place.”

Abbott said, “Texas is taking unprecedented action. As we speak, Sean, the seventh bus is en route from Texas to Washington, DC. This bus process will continue. I want you and the audience to know exactly why we do what we do. The Biden administration, they were dropping off illegal immigrants just [into] small border towns. And I said, we’re not going to allow that to happen. The people in the local communities were overrun by the people that they had dumped in those local communities and they were wondering how to deal with it, and I said, well, we’re just going to take them by bus to Washington, DC “

Later, host Sean Hannity asked, “Will you send every illegal immigrant you find in the state of Texas to Washington, DC?”

Abbott replied, “We’ll load them up and send them to Washington, D.C. If we run out of room there, Delaware seems like a great location.”
