David Prutton’s Sky Bet Championship Predictions | Soccer News

Who is David Prutton in the lead for victory in the Sky Bet Championship in the midweek fixture round? Find out here…
Cardiff vs Coventry, Tuesday 7.45pm – Live on Sky Sports Football
Cardiff’s winning run came to an end at Millwall on Saturday, but they have still given themselves some breathing room above the bottom three over the past two weeks which should be a relief for Steve Morison and his team.
Coventry returned to winning ways after a cracker of a win at Reading. They are still within reach of the play-offs, but need to find some consistency if they want to move up the board. It could be a close game, but I fancy the Sky Blues sneaking it.
Prutton predicts: 1-2 (Sky Bet odds)
Millwall v QPR, Tuesday 7.45pm
Millwall under Gary Rowett just seem to have a knack for picking up a win whenever they need to keep going, as they did against Cardiff at the weekend. They are very comfortable in the middle of the table.
QPR will be reeling from this defeat at Barnsley. It was a missed opportunity at a time when they really could have kept the pressure on second-placed Bournemouth. They will want to bounce back, but I think they only get one point here.
Prutton predicts: 1-1 (Sky Bet odds)
Sheffield United vs Hull, Tuesday 7.45pm – Live on Sky Sports Football Red Button
Sheffield United’s winning run came to an end with that draw at Huddersfield, but it’s still a picked up point and they’re still eyeing a threat at the play-off venue.
Hull is losing momentum under Shota Arveladze. They still have a big gap with the bottom three, but they will want to get back to positivity soon. I don’t see that happening at Bramall Lane, though. Home win.
Prutton predicts: 2-1 (Sky Bet odds)
Peterborough vs Reading, Wednesday 7.45pm – Live on Sky Sports Football
Peterborough can barely buy a goal a minute, let alone a win. While Reading have now lost six in a row.
It’s a huge game. 22nd against 21st, two points separating the pair. It’s going to be a nervous affair, and I just can’t separate them. I’m going to do a draw.
Prutton predicts: 1-1 (Sky Bet odds)
