Daryl Dike will remain at Barnsley for the Championship play-offs following his loan extension with Major League Soccer Orlando City.
The USA international forward joined the Tykes on February 1 and scored nine goals in 17 league appearances to help the club secure a play-off spot.
As part of the original loan agreement, Orlando had the option to recall Dike, 20, in early May.
Barnsley is in sixth place in the league with 77 points with two games remaining in the regular season, with Brentford, Bournemouth and Swansea also guaranteed to be in the play-offs.
Valerien Ismael’s side will face Preston at Deepdale on Saturday, before welcoming already promoted Norwich to Oakwell on May 8.
The first leg of the play-offs semi-finals will take place on May 17 and the return legs will take place on May 22, before the Wembley final on May 29.
The play-offs of the English Football League will be live Sky Sports.
