The New York Giants have made a huge financial investment to keep Daniel Jones in town for years to come.
The former Duke quarterback hadn’t been impressive at all in his early years, but he had a stellar season under Brian Daboll and showed promising signs.
The Giants then doubled that investment by giving him an elite passer in Darren Waller.
And so far so good for the former Las Vegas Raiders tight end, as he recently praised his quarterback’s leadership and communication skills:
“He’s fun. He’s driven. When you know the guy that’s stepping into caucus is here doing all the work and then a little bit…that’s what I learned about him,” Waller said .

Waller is considering a fresh start in the Big Apple after a complicated final season under Josh McDaniels.
He struggled to stay on the pitch but proved to be one of the best playmakers in his position when healthy, becoming an inspiration in the league after overcoming the addiction to get where it is today.
The Giants are expected to take another leap forward offensively in Year 2 under Daboll, one of the best offensive minds in the game.
There will be a lot of pressure on Jones to deliver after getting that big payday.
Some expect Jones to have a similar development to Josh Allen with the Buffalo Bills.
If that were the case, we could and should expect some monster lines from Waller in his new team, assuming he’s able to stay healthy.
The Giants made the playoffs last season, but they’re still not on par with other teams in their division, namely the Philadelphia Eagles.
