Dan Schneider sues ‘Quiet on Set’ for defamation

Dan Schneider filed a defamation lawsuit Wednesday against the producers of “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV,” a documentary series about alleged toxic working conditions for child actors during Nickelodeon’s golden age.

Schneider filed a lawsuit against Warner Bros. Discovery, Maxine Productions and Sony Pictures Television, among others, calling the documentary a “hit job” that falsely implied he sexually abused child actors while working at Nickelodeon as a producer and writer on a film . a number of popular shows, such as “All That.” He is seeking damages and the ability to edit, delete or remove portions of all or part of “Quiet on Set” and its trailer.
