Cycling.  Valentin Retailleau, first leader of the Tour de Bretagne – Cycling


The first leader’s jersey is for Valentin Retailleau! The young rider of the AG2R Citroën U23 formation, crowned French up-and-coming champion this year, won, in a sprint reduced to a handful of riders, at the end of the first stage, this Monday in Allineuc (22).

At the end of the 159 km of this stage part of Cambout (22), the native of Limoges, aged 21, beat Breton Thibault Ferrasse (B & B Hotels) and Dutchman Nick van der Lijke (Riwal).

Three Breton amateurs managed to climb into the top 10 of this 1st stage: Jean-Louis Le Ny (WB-Fybolia-Locminé), Johan Le Bon and Léo Danès (Dinan Sport Cycling).
