Crystal Palace v Man City live stream and team news: City head to Selhurst Park and look to extend lead over Liverpool again in Premier League title race

Manchester City travel to Selhurst Park tonight to take on Crystal Palace in the Premier League as they look to extend their lead over Liverpool once again.

City are three points clear of the Reds at the top of the league after the Reds’ win at Brighton on Saturday and know a win would go up and down to six points.

However, Patrick Vieira has made the Eagles a competent side in the Premier League, and they have lost just one of their last eight games in all competitions.

They are also one of only two Premier League sides to have beaten Manchester City in the league this season.

Palace sealed a pretty brilliant 2-0 victory over Pep Guardiola’s men in October at the Etihad.

Goals from Conor Gallagher and Wilfried Zaha separated the two on that occasion, while City managed just three shots on target the whole game.

However, that defeat gave City life and they won 11 league games in a row until Southampton ended that run in January with a 1-1 draw.

Crystal Palace v Manchester City: what has been said?

Patrick Vieira said: “I think we will face one of the best teams if not the best team in Europe.

“We know the game we had at the Etihad was a good collective game we had and we will have to recreate that kind of performance.

“We will have to be solid, work well together and it will be about defending well as a team but, at the same time, creating those moments that will allow us to create chances and why not score goals – we know we are capable. to do that.

Pep Guardiola said: “Seeing the run of Crystal Palace at the moment, one defeat in the last eight games, the quality they have, especially up front with Zaha, when they defend deep they are hard to break.

“Selhurst Park is always a difficult place to visit. It’s a final for us and we know it. I hope we can prepare well to face a good opponent.
