‘Crushed’ Morgan Wallen’s bar outburst caused by ex-fiancée KT Smith eloping: report

Morgan Wallen’s outburst at a Nashville bar was reportedly the result of his ex-fiancée, KT Smith, marrying another man.
A source told the Daily Mail on Monday that Wallen was struggling with his ex’s new relationship status when he threw a chair at police who were standing under the rooftop bar.
“KT’s wedding to Luke (Scornavacco) last week just crushed her,” a source told the outlet.
“What happened in that bar must have been the reality that hit him in the face after losing the love of his life.”
The “Wasted on You” singer, 30, and Smith began dating in 2016 and got engaged a few months later. Although they broke off their engagement, the couple dated until November 2019.
Despite their separation, the couple welcomed a son, Indigo, together in 2020.
“Morgan never got over her even though he couldn’t stay faithful to her,” the source claimed. “And now another man will raise his son.”
However, an insider told Page Six that the incident had nothing to do with KT’s marriage.
Representatives for the country star did not immediately respond to our request for comment.
Smith, 29, and Scornavacco, 22, went public with their relationship in May 2023 and the latter popped the question with a sparkling $22,000 diamond in March 2024.
The content creator got down on one knee during an elaborate proposal featuring more than 1,700 flowers at Magnolia Farm. Smith looked wedding-ready in a floor-length white dress while Scornavacco wore black, as seen in photos taken by Clare Sanborn.
Just five days after announcing their engagement, the couple shocked their followers — and Wallen — by tying the knot in a courthouse ceremony.
“Of course he knew they were engaged and were eventually going to get married – but to elope just days after their engagement?” the source told the Daily Mail.
The newlyweds announced their life update on Instagram alongside a selfie of them both smiling as she held up a marriage certificate from the Wilson County Clerk’s Office in Tennessee.
However, the couple were quick to deny having a forced marriage, with Smith sharing a photo of a negative pregnancy test.
“This is for all the trolls,” she wrote, “so please continue to invest so much in my uterus once we’re actually pregnant lol.”

The country music superstar was arrested Sunday night for allegedly throwing a chair from the sixth floor of Eric Church’s new bar, Chief’s, on Broadway.
Two police officers were outside the establishment when the chair landed right in front of them, according to local news channel News Channel 5.
Wallen, who reportedly laughed at the incident, was later arrested on three counts of reckless endangerment and charged with disorderly conduct.
After being taken to the police station, the “Last Night” singer posed for a photo before posting his $15,000 bail.
This is not Wallen’s first run-in with the law in recent years. In May 2020, the country crooner was arrested for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness while at another Nashville bar.
He was also charged with drunk driving in 2016.
