Critics spot most ‘gaslighting’ line in Rupert Murdoch’s ‘dishonest’ letter

Billionaire media baron Rupert Murdoch angered critics with a particular part of his announcement that he was resigning as chairman of Fox Corp and News Corp.

In a memo to colleagues on Thursday, Murdoch denounced so-called “elites” who he said “openly disdain those who are not members of their rarefied class.”

“Most media outlets are in cahoots with these elites, peddling political narratives rather than seeking the truth,” he added.
