Couple save Al Roker and his wife Deborah Roberts after their car is killed

No AAA needed here.
Al-Roker and wife Deborah Roberts revealed on Instagram that a few unfamiliar faces stepped in to lend a hand after their car died while at dinner.
“Friday is over. The kindness of strangers,” ABC News correspondent Deborah wrote in an August 13 article. “After a good dinner… a disappointment. The car battery was flat. What to do ? I took a chance and approached a stranger to get jumper cables. »
Deborah shared that it could have been a bad situation which was thankfully turned around when “Phil and his sweet family came to the rescue”. She added, “No 5 mile walk for us tonight! Yay Phil. Thanks for the #kindness.”
In the snap, Al gives the camera a thumbs up while the hood of his car is open. In the background, two strangers – presumably Phil and a member of his family – have wide smiles on their faces as they pose for the snap.
