Coronavirus in Mexico as of November 23: 3,698 infections and 326 deaths were registered in the last day

The Ministry of Health (SSa) released updated figures on the progress of the COVID-19 pandemic in Mexico through its Daily Technical Report, in which it was noted that until 5:00 p.m. this Tuesday, 3,867,976 total cases and 292,850 total deaths from COVID-19 were reported. The states with the highest number of active cases until this Monday are the following: Mexico City (2,808); Baja California (2,559); Guanajuato (1,740); Sonora (1435) and Coahuila (1,200). In contrast, the states with fewer active cases are: Chiapas (22)); Colima (41); Campeche (42); Tlaxcala (48) and Quintana Roo, with 71 cases.

Since the health contingency began, the Secretariat has registered the total number of infections registered in each state. In this regard, the Technical Report of November 23 showed that the following states make up 66% of all accumulated cases nationwide:

Mexico City (981,220); Mexico state (377,949); New Lion (206,350); Guanajuato (194,647); Jalisco (162,830); Tabasco (143,472); Puebla (124,941); Veracruz (123,623); Sonora (116,083) and San Luis Potosi (104,819).

According to the distribution by sex and age of deaths confirmed by COVID-19, Health pointed out that the predominance of SARS-CoV 2 It is 62% in men and he emphasized that the average number of deaths caused by coronavirus is still 64 years.
