Conor McGregor shows slick hands in boxing practice with options for next fight in UFC return including Nate Diaz, Jorge Masvidal, Rafael Dos Anjos and even lightweight champion Charles Oliveira

Conor McGregor is in the final days of his recovery from injury and has shown his boxing skills.

The UFC star has slowly returned to full fitness after the broken leg suffered in his summer loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.

“Keep it tasty,” he wrote alongside video of himself hitting the pads.

Earlier in the week, he told his millions of social media followers that he was boxing with no problem.

“Soon this injury will be a distant memory of my martial arts journey,” he wrote.

“No one has a smooth road – but winning is a matter of positive attitude, determination and hard work. I’m back and only getting better.”

Who he will fight when he returns, however, remains a mystery as well as what division his return will be in.

McGregor has loaded up on muscle in his rehab, which has welterweight Jorge Masvidal taking notice, while a third fight against Nate Diaz isn’t out of the picture either.

However, he also expressed his willingness to go straight into a title shot against lightweight champion Charles Oliveira.

His star power could get there despite back-to-back defeats as he seeks to reclaim the belt he once proudly held.

Rafael Dos Anjos, the man McGregor was supposed to fight in 2016, also appears to have thrown his hat in the ring.

“He looks like Conor [McGregor] is coming back this summer,” he said. “It could be a good one. [A] the title fight is already planned. We’ll see, man. Lots of things can happen. »

McGregor once held the featherweight and lightweight titles at the same time, but has lost three of his last four UFC fights since 2018.

Despite that, he’s in six of the ten biggest MMA gates in Las Vegas history — he’s still the fight for the money.
